February - Potholes... POTHOLES

Potholes.  <sigh>  On Monday February 5, my car was the victim of a giant hole on I95 and my wallet for $435.81.  I am not the only victim though.  There were quite a few news stories in February on potholes and how the odd weather has caused a significant increase this year.  Below is a sampling.  While I normally implore you to report graffiti, today I want to ask you to please report pot holes.  Philly 311 is usually pretty responsive and apparently so is PennDOT.  Save your and your neighbors' some grief and help fix the city.

I did not get a picture of the giant hole on I95 South before Exit 17, however, here is the blown tire.  I messaged PennDot and they did repair it a few days later.

Monday February 5

I wish I could say I was late to work because of the Eagles winning the Super Bowl and I was out too late.  Unfortunately it was because I hit a pothole on I95 South and had to go to Pepboys for a new tire.  I walked home along Washington while waiting.
