This month had our midterm elections. Let's just say at least according to social media, people were... spirited. It's troubling that we as a society put so much faith in others. I've see the right and the left nearly deify individuals they expect to solve problems. Voting is important. Absolutely. However, change begins with you and what you can control. Below is what I have tried to fix.

Below is what I have tried to fix.
This month, interestingly, I was contacted by a Yale grad student (and former
Philly resident). She commented one of my reports and I followed up.
"I’m in the early stages of a project exploring litter and the history of
clean up efforts in Philadelphia. As part of this project, I’m interested in
learning more about the impact of the Philly311 mobile app and web page. I
commented on your post because I’m especially interested in the use of
photographs, and in learning more about the experience of submitting requests
to 311."
Graffiti in the news. There was bias graffiti in November in South Philly. Hopefully they catch this moron.

And here's an update on case from June of graffiti on upper floor on 1300 block of Washington. Municipal court?!?! CLIP won't clean property on upper floors therefore the City makes property owners responsible.

It was the Rabbi's son's bar mitzvah. The party was held in the Arts Ballroom at Broad and Locust. I walked down 13th and back up Broad afterwards.

Sunday November 11 - Veteran's Day
Three things at the gas station and some things on the way to the Farmers Market and even more on the way to Rittenhouse Hardware and lots of stuff to and from the new Target at Broad and Washington.
