¡Viva España!

I did not get a chance to thoroughly hit a block today but I did get a few nagging graffiti sites as well as stuff along my normal travels today - synagogue, another Jewish event on South Street, and Starbucks.  There seems to be an uptick of graffiti back on my main street, 18th.

Washington between 24th and 25th.  It looks like an abandoned building and has graffiti all over it.   I tried to look up if Spain meant anything besides the country in Urban Dictionary.  Apparently no.  This one nagged me for a while on my commute home and I couldn't get a good picture of it while driving.  I made a special stop today to get it.

In the meantime, what do you think of this?

Gainesville is the home of my alma mater, the University of Florida.  Go Gators!  Is this an act of civil disobedience or an outright crime?

Maps of my current submissions.  Top is everything; bottom focuses on 16th-18th streets.

Friday February 5
I was able to get a few things on my way home along Grays Ferry/Washington Avenue.
If you look at the front security gate, you'll notice it looks nice and clean.  That was from a prior submission on my part.  The city either missed the side door (I may have missed it too driving past it) or the tag on the door is new.

Abandoned structure on Grays Ferry.

Sunday February 7

Broad and Bainbridge.  The picture, from Bainbridge, doesn't do it justice.  There is graffiti all over this abandoned building and property.  And it's right next to a firehouse.  I pass this area all the time walking to synagogue on Saturday mornings.  I made a special stop on the way this morning to get it.
18th and Catharine.  They just cleaned these last week after I reported graffiti.  <sigh>
18th and Spruce by BZBI synagogue.
Lombard between 5th and 6th by my synagogue.
South between 16th and 17th.  Abandoned buildings seem to be popular.
18th and Fitzwater.  Home looks unoccupied.
This was particularly annoying to wake up to Saturday morning.  It wasn't there Friday night but suddenly there in the AM.  The city had just cleared out a lot of the graffiti around Marion Anderson this past week.
There were three signs last week, all with graffiti.  The middle sign was taken down (other signs not cleaned) and then remaining space is tagged.  <sigh>

Thoughts?  Questions?  Any areas I should try to tackle?  Have you submitted any graffiti requests yet?
